Bring the Milk, Vanilla Pod, and Sugar to the boil gently
Add the Rice and simmer for 40 minutes or so – you want a little bite left – but the rice should be properly cooked
By this point the whole Rice Pudding will be thick and creamy, and perfect for serving in a bowl with a big teaspoon of (preferably Tiptree Wilkins) Strawberry Jam
I like it a bit thicker – but if you want a gloopier Rice Pudding you can add a dash more milk and just make sure it is still hot. This is a good pudding for making early, and then heating up later
