French Beans, Garlic & Tomato

These beans are easy and quick to make - also very tasty. They are great with simple chicken or white fish dishes... also very good as a warm salad to go with pizzas.


  • Green Beans
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Garlic (6 – 10 Cloves)
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Lemon Juice

Wash the Green Beans and the Tomatoes

Heat a pan with a tiny amount of Olive Oil

When it is really hot – add the Beans and the Garlic Cloves (whole with skin on – it’ll fall off – but protects it for a bit)

Stir fry for 3 – 6 minutes in the super hot pan… You’re after Green Beans with a bit of bite, but also with a bit of charred-ness too!

You can add a dash of water or Lemon Juice if the beans need longer but they are starting to burn…

When cooked – drizzle with Lemon Juice and serve with chopped Cherry Tomatoes and a big crunch of Black Pepper
